The Band of the Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band on parade in winter order ceremonial uniform.

The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band has a number of diverse ensembles to provide musical output for any occasion.

The ensembles available from within the Band are:

  • Wind ensemble - 'Baroque and Roll' Their repertoire extends from baroque to light rock and roll and this ensemble is more suited to dinner nights and intimate occasions where a lighter musical touch is required.
  • Brass ensemble -A brass ensembles known as 'Heavy Brass'.  The ensembles primarily perform for dinner nights with repertoires ranging from medieval to modern and are more suited to occasions that require vibrant and buoyant accompaniment.
  • Fanfare teams - The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band provides a number of variations of fanfare trumpet teams from two and four man Cavalry trumpet teams, up to seven Herald fanfare trumpeters with percussion if required. The trumpets are ideal for any ceremonial occasion.
  • Concert band - The concert band is the largest and most versatile platform available to the band. Their repertoire extends from the classics to modern contemporary wind compositions.
  • Marching Band - The marching band add pomp and pageantry to any event,the band performs at parades in support of British Forces throughout the world. It can be reduced from it's full establishment of thirty five down to as few as eighteen for events where space is at a premium.
  • Tanked Up - A Rock and Roll band ideal for any party style event.
