Recruiting

Violinist of the BandThe Band of The Blues and Royals are always looking for talented musicians. We always welcome musicians who wish to visit us to find out more about our unique musical role.

On a visit to the band you will meet the Director of music and Bandmaster who will be able to answer any questions you may have about the role of an army musician.

If you are a wood wind, brass  or percussion player, you will have the opportunity to experience a rehearsal with the full Band. Dont despair if you play the Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass or Piano as the band of  has a small orchestra. This is used to provide music for many state occasions and banquets through out the year.

As a visiting string player or pianist you will be able to take part in a rehearsal with the orchestra.

We also have a pop band called 'Blue Juice'. It performs regularly at many functions both military and civillian. So if you are a vocalist or a guitarist there may also be a place for you in the Band or the Corps of Army Music. If you scrole down this page you can see a picture of the pop band in concert.
