Terms and Conditions of Service

Standing Instruction BA(G) 6200
       

Standing Instruction 6200 parts one to four deals with the general terms and conditions
of service for LEC. This is the term used for those working on the German economy (DEL)
and the Force Family Members (Dependants). The instruction not only gives detailed
instructions of the employment of LEC, it also contains many of the forms currently in use.

Dependant Terms
and Conditions
  The general terms and conditions of service for Forces/UKBC family members
who have Dependant (DEP) status are laid down in British Army Germany
Standing Instruction 6200 Part 3. This Part 3 extract is designed to
give you a general overview of those terms and conditions and hopefully answer
many of the questions you may have relating to employment with BFG as a dependant.

The terms and conditions of service for LEC working of the German economy
and known as Directly Employed Labour (DEL) are based on the Collective Tariff
Agreement TVAL II (CTA II). This is a large PDF file (The original German version).

  As above, this tariff agreement is to be used in conjunction with the TVAL II and concerns 
state supplements that are available under certain conditions when units reorganise or close.
