Her Majesty The Queen

Her Majesty The Queen, Duke of Lancaster, is Colonel-in-Chief of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment. Her Majesty is supreme in all matters relating to the Regiment.

This specially-commissioned portrait will hang in the Officers Mess of the
1st Battalion the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment .

 


Her Majesty has been Colonel-in-Chief of The Queen's Lancashire Regiment since its formation and before that held the same appointment in The Loyal Regiment from 1st June 1953, the day before the Coronation.
