Ex Gurkhas or Foreign Nationals
TA Regulations 1978 have been amended to allow ex Gurkhas and ex Army Foreign Nationals to join the TA:
Officer and soldier applicants who are foreign nationals who have served at least 4 years reckonable service in the Regular Army, have resided in the UK (which includes BFPO addresses) for a minimum of 5 years and have Indefinite Leave to Remain, may be considered. Applicants who were discharged from the Army for misconduct or serious disciplinary reasons will be ineligible to join the TA.
