FRIENDS OF THE ROYAL GREEN JACKETS MUSEUM

The Rifles Capbadge Small
 

The Museum Trustees for Royal Green Jackets have introduced a scheme to encourage past and present members of the Regiment, Museum visitors and others to show their appreciation of the Museum and to contribute to its continuous improvement by subscribing annually to be a Friend. The specific objectives of the scheme are:

RGJ Logo small To create the financial headroom to pursue a programme of continuous improvement of the Museum
RGJ Logo small To sustain and enhance the Museum's displays through greater use of inter-active, audio-visual and computer-based technology
RGJ Logo small To underwrite a marketing strategy to attract greater visitor numbers

Membership and Subscription

RGJ Logo small Annual Membership: £24 (extra donations are apreciated) paid by annual, quarterly or monthly banker's standing order, exceptionally payment may be made in cash or by cheque.
RGJ Logo small Life Membership: a single donation of £500

As a charity, The Royal Green Jackets Museum Trust is able to recover a substantial additional sum from the Inland Revenue by Friends who sign the appropriate Gift Aid Declaration and are taxpayers. The benefit in respect of each subscription is currently 28p for each £1 donated. Friends who pay tax at the higher rate are able to claim higher rate tax relief.

Privileges

Friends of the Museum are entitled to receive:

RGJ Logo small Free entrance to the Museum throughout the year for themselves and either one accompanying adult or two accompanying children
RGJ Logo small A 10% discount on all Museum shop purchases totalling, £5 or more (in any single purchase on one day)
RGJ Logo small A biannual Newsletter (Spring and Autumn)
RGJ Logo small Discounts on ticket prices for special Museum events

The list of Friends is maintained at the front desk to the Museum with free admission and discounts on shop purchases being granted after verification of names and addresses.
