The Battalion moved from Wellington Barracks to Aldershot in July 2008, having completing the Trooping of the Colour during the Queen's Birthday Parade in the June.
Having returned to their barracks in Aldershot following a six-month tour of Afghanistan in October 2009, a thanksgiving service and medal parade was held.
