Officers

As an Officer in the Royal Regiment of Scotland you can expect one of the most diverse and challenging careers that the Army can offer.

Officers firstly become Infantry Platoon Commanders, responsible for the lives, careers and aspirations of 28 soldiers in barracks, in training and ultimately on operations.

Prospective Officers should contact Major Gerry Akhurst, who will provide you direction and guidance. He can be reached on 0131 310 5086 or by email at asstregsec-2@rhqscots.army.mod.uk.
