Medical & Dental Arrangements

The BFG Health Service is the provider of health care to British Forces Germany.  It comprises, the Army Medical Services (AMS), the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA), and the Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Hospital Trust.

Their mission is to provide an effective and efficient health care service, broadly equivalent to NHS standards, to the population for which GOC UKSC(G) is responsible.

The Health Service is free to all, including prescriptions, except for NHS statutory contributions for certain dental treatments and spectacles.
