Boxing Tournament Dinner

The Armed Forces v Cambridge University Boxing Tournament Dinner Night

Thursday 20th November 2008 Army v Cambridge University

INTRODUCTION

A Charity Boxing Evening is to be held against Cambridge University Boxing Club on Thurday 20 November 2008 at Bassingbourn Barracks, the home of the Army Training Regiment (Bassingbourn).

The event will be in the format of a charity dinner night, with at least eight bouts of boxing between serving members of the British Army and members of the Cambridge University Boxing Club.

FUNDRAISING

In order to enhance the enjoyment of this event and to raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, we will be hosting a gala dinner event immediately prior to the commencement of the boxing contest. The dinner will be a high class event with quality cuisine and entertainment, with sporting celebrities and senior military officials in attendance. Tables will seat 10 people of whom one will be a sporting personality and another, a military representative.

The cost witnessing a competition of skilled amateur boxers and attending what I am sure will be a most enjoyable and memorable dinner event will be £100 per ticket, or £800 for a table of eight.

This event provides an excellent opportunity for individuals or small groups to enjoy themselves in a different and entertaining environment or for a manager to bring along his management team and treat them.
