Regimental Headquarters
Based at Wellesley Park, Halifax, RHQ is responsible for co-ordinating all Regimental matters, including welfare, and Officer recruiting.
The Regimental Museum
Established at the Depot at Halifax in 1921, the Regimental museum has moved six times and, since 1960, has been housed at the Bankfield Museum in Halifax. The display itself is designed to cater for all tastes, from the dedicated military historian to those with little prior knowledge of the Regiment's history or its connections with the West Riding of Yorkshire.

Admission to the Museum is free and it is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm , Sundays 2pm to 5pm and Bank holiday Mondays.
Regimental Chapels
The Regimental Chapel in York Minster was dedicated on 12 May 1923 as a memorial to over 8,000 men of The Duke of Wellington's Regiment (West Riding) who died in the First World War and to other past members of the Regiment. A Regimental Chapel in Halifax Parish Church was dedicated on 22 September 1951 as a memorial to the 1,200 officers and men of the Regiment who died in the Second World War. The Regimental Journal
A Regimental Magazine has been produced since 1886. In May 1925, the first edition of the Iron Duke was published. Three issues are now produced annually.

The Regimental Association
Formed in 1912, the Regimental Association provides comradeship for those who have left the Army. In addition, it assists those ex-members of the Regiment who, for any reason, find themselves in financial or other difficulties. Any enquiries should be addressed to Regimental Headquarters.
Army Cadet Force - DWR
Yorkshire (North & West) Detachments are established in Halifax, Huddersfield, Spen Valley, Keighley, Mirfield Skipton and Thongsbridge. Humberside and South Yorkshire Detachments are established in Barnsley, Thurcroft, Wombwell, Darfield, Wath on Deearne, Birdwell and Endcliffe.
Combined Cadet Force - DWR
The Army Sections of the CCF Detachments at Giggleswick School>, Leeds Grammar School and Wellington College are affiliated and badged to The Duke of Wellington's Regiment |
