From protecting national security to helping rebuild essential services in a war-torn country, you'll deal with some of the most exacting situations. There are opportunities to belong to one of the Infantry's Regiments, the Househlod Cavalry, the Royal Armoured Corps, the Royal Artillery, the Army Air Corps or the recently formed Attack Helicopter unit. |

As an engineer in the Army, your specialist skills will be in demand all over the world. You might be a Combat Enginner in the Royal Engineers building bridges, navigating rivers or crossing minfields. The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers repair and modify anything from rifles to armoured tanks. Other regiments and corps include the Royal Corps of Signals, Royal Logistic Corps and the Army Air Corps. |

In peace or in conflict, it’s the Royal Logistic Corps that keeps the Army going. It is responsible for setting up and running a self contained transport infrastructure which includes a whole range of jobs you might not expect to find in the Army. You'll often be the first to arrive in an operational area so you'll be trained to be a front-line combat soldier as well as an expert in your trade. The Army Medical Services (AMS) bring together the Royal Army Medical Corps, the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, the Royal Army Dental Corps and the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps. Each Corps has specialist jobs, with the chance to try different directions and develop additional skills and recognised qualifications.
