Development& Selection Centres

There are currently three Army Selection and Development Centres in Mainland UK.

The reason for ADSC are as follows:

  • For you to get a look at a training regiment first hand.
  • Confirmation of your job choice.
  • A chance for you to see and talk to Recruits in training.
  • A chance for us to look at you and confirm suitability for Army training.
    • Chance for us to assess you, watch reactions, judge your performance and see what sort of person you are in an interview situation.

The Aim of ADSC

To develop and select young men and women for a career in the regular Army, assess suitability for their choice of Career Employment Group (CEG) and to motivate them for Phase one and two training.
