All Troops in 1 Training Squadron are named after individuals who are famous for acts of gallantry during conflict.  

Army Training Regiment (Lichfield) is home to 1 Training Squadron. Its mission is to train Royal Engineer and Royal Signals Soldiers Under Training in basic military skills. The Squadron has a proud history in the field of training and only selects the best instructors to teach recruits.

ATR Lichfield is a superb establishment for training and has some of the best training facilities available to ensure that Soldiers Under Training have the best opportunity to achieve the high standards that are set.

ATR Lichfield also offers a wide range of leisure facilities for use and you will see many of these when you visit the Parade.

The aim of this site is to keep you up to date with Soldiers Under Training progress through pictures and to offer further information on the training process.
