Worship at ATR Lichfield

Lichfield Church1

Army Training Regiment Lichfield
Chaplaincy

The Chaplain is Padre Jonathan Gough. His office is on the side of the Church. Please feel free to call – if he is not in, please leave a note, or call on Ext 4212 or call or text on Mob 07917 000891.

The Garrison Church is open at all times, for everyone as a space for quiet and for prayer. You are welcome to use it at any time, and to attend any activity. There is a book for your prayers in the side chapel.

Christian Churches

Members of all Christian churches are welcome to participate in worship, which is led in the tradition of the Church of England. If you wish to attend worship in another church, the Padre will be happy to arrange this.

Other Faiths

There is a prayer room near the Chapel, opposite Severn House. Please do make use of it. If there is something you require for worship that is not there, please let the Padre know. If you would like to make contact with a faith community, the Padre would be happy to arrange this.

Quiet Room

There is a quiet room on the far side of the Garrison Church, which can be reached through the Church or from outside. Do make yourself at home.

Christian Churches and Other Faiths

The services in St George’s Garrison Church are open to all, and are normally led in the tradition of the Church of England. There are Christian Churches of other traditions (Roman Catholic, Methodist, Baptist and others) in the local area.

There are congregations and places of worship of the major Faiths in Birmingham. There are Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh centres in the city, among others.
