Q4. I want to publish a request for a certified instructor(s) to accompany the exped I am planning. How do I do this?
AT present, you will need to send an email to
Land-ATG(A)-(Mailbox), with a subject heading of 'ITEM FOR PUBLICATION ON THE ATG(A) WEB SITE' and we will include your request under the ''Latest News' section. You will need to provide the following information:
- Your name, email address and contact tel no (civ and mil). - Brief details of the Exped e.g. dates, country, activity type. - When the item is to be removed from the Web Site. We are presently developing a change to the Web Site that will allow you to submit these details online, which following validation, will be posted to the Web Site.
Q5. What's the easiest way to search for JSAT Courses?
You must logon. Then you can search by location
AT Centres or by activity AT

Q6. I know I have updated my profile with my availability dates, why don't I appear on the 'Instr Avail' search?
Either your period of availability has passed (the record is then purged) or you have not used your account for more than 6 months, in which case it will have been disabled. Email

Q7. I need to find someone with the relevant certification and availability for the exped I am planning, but all the records that are returned, have no availability date. What's the point in displaying these records?
We encourage all users of the site to include not only certification details, but also the date when they are available. If members are unable to confirm availability, we still need to know they are prepared to make themselves available. In these instances, you will need to contact them directly, using their supplied contact details.

We facilitate the contact by publishing contact details, you contact them directly, using the supplied information.
Q9. I have some great pictures and video clips from my AT Expedition, and want to put them on the Web Site. How do I get them published?

Land-ATG(A)-(Mailbox) with your query and a subject heading of 'VIDEO AND IMAGES FOR INCLUSION ON THE ATG(A) WEB SITE'. We will scrutinise your request and publish, if we approve the submission. Please be aware of the following criteria:
- You must have the permission of everyone in the pictures or images, to publish them.- Images must be from a Service sponsored AT Activity. - No 'posed' shots. - Relevant safety equipment must be used by those in 'camera'. - Images must be a minimum of 72dpi - Images must be in focus. Action shots depicting the ethos and spirit of the nine service sponsored activities is the criteria against which each submission will be published. We will also publish the authors details with each image/video.
Q10. How do I submit a news item for publication on the Web Site?

Q11. Why can't I apply for a JSAT course online?
This is functionality we will soon add to the site i.e. the requisite application form from JSP 419 will be populated with the requisite personal and course details we hold. We will then generate an MS Word doc, and you can complete the rest of the details. You will then need to email the form to the requisite centre.
Q12. Why can't I see all the news items?
You need to login, to see all news items. Only thos items deemed 'public' can be seen, if you have not logged in.
Q13. Why can't I download all forms and publications?
We require greater control over the distribution of some forms and publications, therefore these must be accessed from a Service Intranet, or alternatively, email

Q17. I want an account. How do I apply?
Complete the registration details as required by the site. To avoid unnecessary delay in processing your request, ensure you route your request to the appropriate Div Officer, from the drop down field at the end of the form. Your request will be scrutinised during normal work hours. You may receive a phone call to your supplied mil tel, to complete the verification process.
Q18. I want to apply for a non AT Course. How do I apply online?
You can't from this web site. But you can apply from the
Nuffield Centre web site.
Q19. I want to make site members aware of my professional AT Quals and availability. How do I publish my details?
When you have logged on, update your Profile.
Q20. Why do I need an account?
We use the limited personal and event information you provide us to deliver the collaboration elements of the site, which we need to exercise some control over. If we don't incorporate this functionality, we lose some of the collaborative elements.
Q21. I have an ArmyNET account, why do I need an account for the ATG(A) site?
You can logon from ArmyNET, directly to the ATG(A) Web Site. If you want to include your details in the 'Instr' Avail database though, you need to register for a separate ATG(A) account.
Q22. Why can't I change my name, under 'Update Profile'?
This is the name under which you were validated as a bona fide member. If there is a valid reason for your name to change, email
