As part of the Employment and Training Department, the AFFEAS team is made up of 4  offices around the country, and a national advisor based at home. The team offer a wide range of information and support to Army families on training and employment issues including:

Andria Denton, AFF Employment Advisor for Catterick

I am the Army Families Federation Employment Advisor for Catterick Garrison.

I aim to help Army Spouses and their Dependants to find employment or offer advice on further education and training opportunities.  I liaise with local authorities, local employers, training providers and local recruitment agencies.  You can find me situated inside the HIVE in the AWS Building, Hipswell Lodge on Smuts Road.

Office hours: Mon to Thurs 9.30-2.30pm, Term Time only.

Susan Dyne, AFF Employment Advisor for Colchester

I am the Army Families Federation Employment Advisor for Colchester Garrison.  My job is to assist Army spouses with job searches, and give practical advice on CV writing and interview techniques.  Being an Army spouse myself I understand the challenges of trying to maintain a career or find work whilst following a soldier’s career.  I offer an individual service to spouses looking for work; I keep in regular contact with local employers, employment agencies and the Job Centre; my job boards are updated weekly; and I can offer internet access to assist with job searches.

Amy Tipping, AFF Employment Advisor for Blandford

I am the Army Families Federation Employment Advisor for Blandford Garrison.  My aim is to assist Army spouses and dependants in their search for work, by liaising with local authorities, recruitment agencies and the local job centres.

I can also offer advice on Further Education and training opportunities, as well as practical help with CV writing and interview skills.

Kerry Hart, AFF Employment Advisor for Salisbury Plain

I am the Army Families Federation Employment Advisor for Salisbury Plain based in the AFF Training Centre in Bulford.
I offer an individual service to Army dependants looking for work; this can include practical advice on things such as CV writing, interview techniques and available training in the area. I liaise with local employers, training providers and recruitment agencies.  I can also provide an up to date list of vacancies in the area.
