THE ARMY FOUNDATION COLLEGE

At the Army Foundation College at Harrogate (AFC(H)) we train the future soldiers from a wide variety of capbadges. If you are a school leaver aged between 16 and 17 years and one month of age on joining, the AFC(H) offers a unique opportunity to learn as you earn. Through first class military training and vocational education, we help you gain the soldering skills needed in the modern Army – and to get a head start in a challenging and fulfilling career.

READ ALL ABOUT IT

This web site tells you how the AFC (H) can help you realise your full potential in a challenging and rewarding career. We have also asked some junior serving soldiers to tell you, in their own words, about their experiences at the college – and what they have got out of it. If you think a career in the British Army would suit you, and you would like to find out more about starting it at the AFC (H), then read on….
