6 SCOTS is a Territorial Battalion of The Royal Regiment of Scotland and it recruits from the lowlands of Scotland with TA Centres in Ayr, Bathgate, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Galashiels, Glasgow and Motherwell.
The Battalion has trained in places such as France, Belgium, Cyprus, the USA, and the Slovak Republic and the Ukraine. Many members have also served with regular Regiments on exercise and operations all over the world, including Afghanistan, Canada, Kenya and Operation TELIC in Iraq since March 2003.
6 SCOTS is now recruiting soldiers and officers, so if you are aged between 17 and 32 years (35 if you have previous military experience) and you are prepared to commit some time and consider a challenge, then why not consider joining?
