Her time out in Australia so far has been a great experience. The first 6 weeks were spent with the host unit band in Brisbane. The highlights being a joint concert with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and the street march through the city on Anzac Day.
She then flew up to the Northern Territory, to spend some time with the band in Darwin. During the 2 weeks there, she played at the opening ceremony for the Arafura Games, and travelled to Kanunurra for the big music festival.
After a hot 2 weeks up in Darwin, she then travelled down to Sydney to spend 2 weeks with the band located there, taking part in various parades, a concert at St Andrew's Cathedral and being the vocalist for the indigenous service.
Having now arrived in Canberra, she will be spending the next month there, with a week planned in Melbourne during this time.
