The Cheshire Military Museum

When visiting the Cheshire Military Museum you will be met by regimental volunteers who will be able to direct you to the start of the tour. We think you will spend an interesting hour or so viewing and listening to the interactive videos as well as the many exhibits depicting life in the army from 1689 to the present day. |
Those amongst you who spent any time in the army will no doubt remember this scene, and will have told many stories about this "much loved activity" to your children and indeed maybe even your grandchildren. |

The cry "Over the top" must have been heard many times during World War 1 in trenches just like the one you see here in this photograph. On visiting the museum walk around a mock WW1 trench, see how the officers and men lived, ate and slept in them before going over the top to engage their enemy. |
