Welcome to the Welfare Support page of 205 Fd Hosp (V). Welfare support to both soldiers and families is critical as only by supporting you can we expect you to support the Unit.
In recent years commitment from the TA to the Regular Army has grown. An effective support system for the soldier/officer and their family is important as this allows the person mobilised to concentrate on their job, safe in the knowledge that their family has a support system at hand if they need it. It also provides the family with a link into the Army in times of need or provides advice, as dealing with the little problems now stops them becoming big issues.
205 Fd Hosp (V) support network starts at the Squadron Level (The TA Centre) with the Permanent Staff Admin Officer (PSAO) and they should normally be the first point of contact (the telephone numbers are shown on the Squadron pages). The Unit has it’s own Regimental Operations Support Officer (ROSO), who’s name and number is shown below. The ROSO is welfare trained and has a back ground in supporting families, he may not have all the answers but can normally help you in finding them and can provide other agencies if required.
No problem is to small, nothing is ever silly, if it is worrying you please get in touch.
