The Battery was formed on the 23rd June 1757. It is a Battery steeped in history, with the Battle of Plassey forming the corner stone for the formation of the British Empire in India. We have taken part in many operations in numerous theatres, including the Falklands, Northen Ireland, Cyprus and both Gulf Wars.
