Welcome to the Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum

The Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum (TVLRF), a partnership consisting of representatives from Police, Local Authorities, Fire, Ambulance, Environment Agency, Health, Military, Utility companies and Transport companies.
Here you will find information and advice about actions to take to ensure that residents, visitors and businesses in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Berkshire are ready and prepared; before, during or after a major incident.
General information is available about developments covering a wide range of emergencies including information on emergency and risk situations, such as severe weather, fire, chemical incidents, major disruption to business activities and localised flooding.
At times of emergency, the website will be used to publish information about what is happening, how the incident is being addressed and by whom, and potentially how the public can assist.
The website also displays the Community Risk Register, which lists a number of generic risks, their probability of occurring and potential impact, and the control measures in place. This serves to reassure you that the partnership has assessed things that could potentially happen and is in a state of preparedness to deal with these emergencies.
