The 2011 MOD Clinical Excellence Awards round is now open to applications. The awards are offered to recognise and reward contributions to the Defence Medical Services that are consistently over and above the standard expected of a consultant or academic GP in both their clinical and military roles.
If you wish to apply for a Clinical Excellence Award, you must complete the relevant forms and send to your Medical Director General or equivalent on or before Friday 29 July 2011. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted. All applications must be accompanied by any external citations you also wish to provide, as well as a copy of your job plan and equalities monitoring form. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in early December 2011.
