Congratulations to the winners, and congratulations and thank you to all our talented entrants.
The winners were to be recognized in a ceremony at the close of yesterday's CDM Executive Board question and answer session
at COP15 in Copenhagen. However, the questions from the standing-room-only audience took up the entire session.
A recognition ceremony is being planned for later in the week. Please check back here for information as the plans take shape.

In an effort to build on growing interest in the Kyoto Protocol’s clean development mechanism (CDM) in Africa, partner UN
agencies (UNEP, UNDP, WB, UNITAR, UNCTAD and UNFCCC) and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) have announced
they will organize a second all-Africa Carbon Forum,
at the United Nations Gigiri complex in Nairobi, Kenya, on 3–5 March 2010.

CDM audio file service : new downloads

The UNFCCC secretariat is pleased to offer a new series of audio files covering the basic
workings of the Clean Development Mechanism. The new audio files were created to explain
topics such as baseline, project boundary and leakage. They also offer more information about fees,
methodologies, tools and CERs. Look for more audio files in the coming weeks.
