Tony Davis is CEO of MedilinkWM a Life Science industry association which provides specialist business support to companies selling products and services within the medical technologies, biotechnology market and pharmaceutical sectors. MedilinkWM works in partnership with UKTI to deliver international trade missions to showcase the UK’s life sciences capability.
In his role as MedilinkWM CEO, Tony’s primary aim is to promote industry to the Department of Health (DoH), the Technology Strategy Board, and other high-level government organisations. Recognition of the first-class, proactive delivery of benefits to members resulted in Tony being appointed the first Chair of Medilink UK, the national SME support network.
In addition to his private sector business experience Tony has also operated within the third sector handling European projects for Economic Development departments focusing on disability and healthcare, developing programmes for mental health organisations and as Chief Executive of a business support & research institute World beating medical simulation – not a virtual reality
With the UK recognised for expertise in both digital technologies and life sciences, it was inevitable that when the two worlds collided something pretty special could be created.
