Hamish is a Trade Development Officer and has recently joined the UKTI team in Auckland. Sector responsibilities include energy, biotechnology, agriculture, ICT, oil and gas, and environment. He grew up in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand and gained his Batchelor of Management Studies (Hons.) at The University of Waikato before going onto completing a Masters in Management Studies in Tourism and Marketing. This looked at the influence of social media on backpackers decision making processes for Stray and Spaceships New Zealand. He enjoys sport, soccer, golf, running and follows them with interest.
