Evidence that Asia is leading the global economy out of recession is mounting all the time. Stimulus programmes, accelerating growth and burgeoning intra-Asian trade all offer exceptionally promising opportunities for British companies. Now is the time to do it especially with recovery in our own part of the world more sluggish. If ever there is a time to be bold and adventurous, it’s now.

I am starting this blog because I believe passionately that the markets of Asia are where some of the best prospects for British business lie and thus a key route to help dig our country out of the present recession. Yet we aren’t doing nearly well enough in Asia. We need to turn the tide.
