What’s new on the BIS website

You may have noticed a few changes around here.
We recently closed the sites of our predecessor departments and merged their pages into this single site.
In the process we've halved the amount of content, improved the layout and added features based on your feedback.
We've also redirected all our old web addresses, so your bookmarks should still work.
We made these changes while spending less. This site will save £2.5m over the next four years compared with the cost of the previous services, and more besides as we merge many of our partner organisations' sites into this one.
We hope you like it. Tell us what you think, and we'll continue to improve it.
