The BIS bioscience unit works to grow bioscience R&D capability and commercialisation within the UK.
Bioscience Unit is part of BIS’s Business Relations activity, within Enterprise and Business Group. Business Relations aims to use sector knowledge and expertise to create the conditions for globally competitive UK business. In order to understand the factors impacting on companies in the UK, our Relationship Managers develop and maintain contacts with key companies and trade associations in the sector.
The Unit’s vision is growing Bioscience R&D capability and commercialisation within the UK.
