The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) published its market study on corporate insolvency practitioners on 24 June 2010.
OFT Report: The market for corporate insolvency practitioners - A market study
The report makes a number of recommendations for changes to the regulatory system to correct the market harm occurring to unsecured creditors who have a weak position in insolvency procedures which the OFT feels is not adequately being protected by the current system
Government will respond to the recommendations addressed to Government in due course.
