Alison Crowther


Alison Crowther Alison Crowther is a consultant and trainer in the field of stakeholder and public engagement.

Educated first in the arts, later Environmental Technology then Conflict Resolution, she has over 10 years' experience in the environment and science sectors.

Currently working for the OSI’s Sciencewise Programme, she mentors and supports policy makers commissioning timely and effective public dialogue projects. She was involved in pivotal projects such as Shell’s Brent Spar Dialogue Process and various nuclear, water, waste and transport issues whilst working at The Environment Council, and has worked with a broad spectrum of people from pressure groups, local and central government, business and directly with citizens.

Alison is a founding member of InterAct, and an Associate of The Environment Council and Demos.
